Trust in the Process

water damage restoration

Professional water damage remediation and restoration companies understand that getting your home back to normal is a process.

Water damage restoration can seem like a stressful chore, a long drawn out process, and a pain in the you-know-what. However, it’s also something that ServiceMaster has down to a science. The water damage restoration process can seem strange to those unfamiliar with it, so here is a rundown of what to expect.

Start with an Assessment

First things first, we will answer your call and try to determine the severity of your water damage emergency. We will then go to your home and assess the water damage ourselves, using our years of training and experience. Once we are done evaluating your property’s water damage, we will create a water damage restoration plan to complete the work.

Water Removal

Once we have assessed your property, it’s time to get rid of all that water. Depending on the severity of flooding, we may remove up to hundreds or thousands of gallons of water from your property. We start this process as quickly as possible to help prevent mold from taking root.  Starting this aspect of the process quickly also prevent further water damage.

Drying and Dehumidifying

Once we get rid of all that water, it’s time to really get rid of all that water!  We will thoroughly dry out your property using professional techniques. After that, we will use dehumidifiers to thoroughly dry out the room.

After all of that work is done, it’s time to get the restoration part of water damage restoration.  We will work our hardest to restore your property back to the excellent condition it was in before the flooding occurred. Sometimes, this means replacing a couple walls or doing some minor repairs.  Other times, this can involve major reconstruction and restoration like building entire new rooms from scratch.
